Created by The Peregrine Fund as its base of operations, the World Center for Birds of Prey is a research institution and breeding area for endangered winged species. On site, the Velma Morrison Interpretive Center has live birds on display, along with educational displays on these birds, their natural habitats and what can be done to help protect them. The center is about 9 miles by car south of downtown Boise and offers educational programs for school groups.
Open Mar - Oct: daily 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Nov - Feb: Tue. - Sun. 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Adults $5; Seniors (62+) $4; Youth (4-16) $3; Children under 4 are free.
