Founded in 1995, Idaho Black History Museum offers a look at 200 years of African-American history, with a special focus on African-American history in Idaho. Exhibits showcase African-American pioneers, the contributions of Black citizens in U.S. wars, and Idaho's jazz heritage among other intriguing topics. Housed in the historic St. Paul church, built in 1921, the museum stands in Julia Davis Park near the Idaho Historical Museum.
