Opera Idaho brings professional-grade operatic productions to the state, running everything from classical pieces to world premier operas. Encouraging local participation, the opera runs auditions for parts in its major productions as well as for places in the Adult and Children's Choruses. Performances take place at venues all around the area, such as the Idaho Botanical Garden and the Morrison Center, though the company's offices can be found just a block northwest of Julia Davis Park in downtown.
